According to Stats Canada, 15% of the workforce is made up of Canadian born entrepreneurs, 20% of immigrants make are entrepreneurs. 51% of Entrepreneurs make it past their 5th year in business. Keep in mind that the average employed Canadian’s largest expense is taxes at 42% according to the Fraser Institute. Why then are so many Canadians chained to their employer and not taking the jump into Entrepreneurship? You want my opinion? It’s because of fear.
