Manitoba has now enacted the RESA (Real Estate Services Act). This new legislation now allows a licensed Realtor to trade real estate using digital writing and signatures; no more paper. This is a big deal as we are the last Board in Canada to have enacted this improvement. This allows me to write listing documents and offers and my clients to sign these documents digitally using my Apple Pencil and iPad Pro 12.9 in person fully paperless. It allows clients to also sign documents using their own devices in the course of a transaction. All that being said, this is a good thing and I’m quite pleased. This saves my clients time and I now provide even better more convenient service to my clients. Not to mention it’s more environmentally friendly.
